Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. To print to the library printer from a laptop or mobile device, the document must be saved as a PDF or as an image file (bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, and tiff files).

Follow these steps to print:

1. Go to : http://print.ccsnh.edu/user and use your EasyLogin credentials.
2. Select Web Print from the menu on the left and choose Submit a Job. 
3. Select the correct printer : nccpapcut1\CCSNH Print - Black and White (virtual)
4. Choose the number of copies you would like to print and select Upload Documents.
5. Select the file you would like to print (Must be in a PDF format) and select Upload & Complete to send to printer.
6. When the document status is (green) HELD IN QUEUE, go to the library printer and login with your EasyLogin credentials and select PRINT.

You can ask for help at the library service desk. 

 

 

NCC provides you with 600 minutes (10 hours) of online tutoring each term.. If you use all of that time and want more tutoring, please visit https://helpdesk.ccsnh.edu/HomePage.do and log in with your EasyLogin. From there, click on the BrainFuse button and then fill out and submit the request form. See the how to box on the tutoring website https://library.nashuacc.edu/home/tutoring

 

Either your professor(s) should let you know or you can ask us directly if we have them. We also have some OER digital texts available in print. Ask us about those, too!   Check what textbooks are required for your courses.

Yes. You can request the Group Study Conference Room for Zoom meetings. Requests for this room can be placed here: https://nashuacc.libwizard.com/f/Room133-Requests_

The library lends laptops for up to a week. Come to the library service desk. Laptops cannot be reserved. For longer term loans, please see the NCC IT Department.

1. Place your paper(s) on top of the printer in the copying slot (front side facing up) 
   1. Note: copying more than 20 pages at a time may cause errors
2. Logon to the printer using your EasyLogin 
3. Press “Access Device” 
4. Press “Copy” 
5. Adjust your settings based on how many papers you want to copy and how you want them copied 
6. Press the green button on the right side when ready

Yes. The library has a Group Study Conference Room that can be reserved for use by students, staff, faculty and groups. Please fill out this form to make a request: https://nashuacc.libwizard.com/f/Rooms-Requests

The Library Catalog shows all of our print books. If you cannot find the book you want, please ask at the service desk or email us. We can borrow books from other libraries.

1. Place your paper(s) on top of the scanner underneath the copying slot.

   1. Make sure it’s aligned to the top left corner.

2. Logon to the printer using your EasyLogin

3. Press “Scan”

4. Make sure the file will send to the right email

5. Press “Start” when ready 

Food and drink are allowed. Please keep drinks covered near computer keyboards and do clean up crumbs and food wrappers.

Yes! Some faculty offer in-person tutoring for separate topics, and they should be on the tutoring calendar. But we also offer online tutoring for a wide variety of topics (including topics in business, programming, social sciences, etc.) with a wesbite called Brainfuse. You can find our link in any Canvas course under the “24/7 Tutoring” tab on the left-hand side. 

Yes, we do! The library has  multi-device charging cables for in-library use.

Although the library is closed and there is no tutoring on evenings or weekends, there is always free online tutoring. Find the 24/7 tutoring link in any Canvas course on the left-hand side. More information about tutoring is at https://library.nashuacc.edu/home/tutoring

Yes! Writing tutors and NCC Library staff can help you create and proof citations. See also the library's online citation guide. 

Search publications from the search box on the library homepage. A “Peer-Reviewed” filter will  be available on the results page. Also, you can choose the Articles tab and Advanced Search view to limit your results to peer-reviewed.

Brainfuse is an online tutoring service that is accessed when you are logged in to Canvas. It provides free 24/7 tutoring in a variety of subjects and is chat-based with audio, video and Spanish-language options. You can also submit papers to be reviewed and critiqued by professional tutors. Instructors can assign tutoring to individual students or to an entire class. To access Brainfuse, go into any Canvas course and choose  "24/7 Tutoring" from left-side menu.
